About The Role

Ahaba is a cafe in the heart of E3 that serves the local community. It is a place of peace in a noisy city with great coffee, delicious food, and a community where customers can find hope, love, prayer and fellowship.

WHAT IS THE ROLE?

The cafe manager’s responsibility is to run the cafe day-to-day, develop the products, engage positively with customers and develop a staffing structure that fits the budget

As the lead of Ahaba you will lead and build a small team of part-time staff, missionaries and volunteers. You will set the culture and tone of the cafe and make decisions to shape this joy-filled space. You will work directly with our suppliers and develop our products for sale. You will oversee ongoing team training so we aim for excellence. You will seek out the next barista or volunteer to join the team. You will be ready at all times to appropriately share your faith with those that walk through the door.

You will manage the team rotas, order stock and oversee the book keeping. You will foster a space where speciality coffee and evangelism go hand-in-hand.

You will be involved with the spiritual life of All Hallows Bow and play your part in the wider life of AHB.
