Services are split into two types:
Visiting clergy may be eligible for fees in relation to taking services in church.
Clergy who hold a stipendiary post in another parish are not eligible for fees but should be offered travel expenses.
Self-Supporting Ministers and Licensed Lay Minsters are not eligible for fees but should be offered travel expenses.
Retired clergy holding Permission to Officiate are eligible to receive fees. Please refer to the relevant link above for more detail.
During a vacancy special rules apply and the PCC may claim some of the expenses of “clergy cover” from the Diocese.
